In-Person registrations include the following:

• Keynotes, Presentations and Discussions
  Access to all educational programming, Monday, September 12 - Wednesday, September 14, and Friday, September 16.
• Meals
  Morning coffee and Lunches provided on Monday, September 12, Tuesday, September 13 and Wednesday, September 14, Friday September 16
  Dinner provided Wednesday, September 14
  Dinner provided Friday, September 16
• Tours and Social Activities
  Evening Welcome Reception on Sunday, September 11
  Evening Tour on Monday, September 12
  Half-Day Tours on Wednesday, September 14
  Lunenburg Full Day Tours on Thursday, September 15
  Afternoon tour on Friday, September 16
  Gala dinner on Friday, September 16
• Transportation to and from tours and venues
  *Does not include transportation to and from airport.

When you register as an in-person attendee, you can also register an Accompanying Partner for the Partner's Program.

Virtual registrations include the following:

• Access to all educational programming, Monday, September 12 - Wednesday, September 14
• Most sessions will be streamed live and recorded. They will be available to you regardless of your time-zone.
• You will have access to session content for up to 1-month post-Congress.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

An email to shaina@gemstone-events.com requesting a refund of the registration fee must be received by August 26^th, 2022.

* A €25 non-refundable processing fee will be deducted from the refund.
* After August 26^th, 2022 no refunds can be issued.

We appreciate that there is uncertainty regarding travel. We anticipate having an in-person Congress in September. However, if the meeting is cancelled, or if you are prohibited from traveling by your country or institution, you will receive a full refund of your registration fee.

Terms of Service

The Congress registration fee is processed in Euros and payment is accepted online with PayPal. Your registration fee will include the registration package as stated. Once your online registration is completed, you will receive an email confirmation receipt which will confirm your registration for the Congress.

Access

ICMM reserves the right to require any attendee to immediately cease participation in the Congress whether that be in-person or virtually. Any person whose conduct, in the sole opinion of the Organizer, is prejudicial to the proper management and/or purposes of ICMM 2022. ICMM reserves the right to revoke Congress access provided to said individual.  

Technological Requirements

For virtual participants, quality of sound and video during the Congress is greatly dependent on your Internet connection speed. Please make sure the device you intend to use meets the requirements of the digital Congress environment.   To participate, you need access to a device, an Internet connection, and web browser. For the best viewing experience, we recommend that you join the Congress using a supported internet browser, which includes Google Chrome, Firefox, and/or Safari. We suggest not using your mobile devices to participate as there will be limitations. A wired internet connection may work better for streaming videos than a wireless connection. It is also advised to disconnect Skype, Zoom sessions, stop downloads and close browser tabs that will not be needed during the ICMM Congress.  

Duty Of Care Statement:

The International Congress of Maritime Museums is requiring all ICMM attendees [planners, partners, onsite AV technicians and speakers] be fully vaccinated prior to attending the Congress.

We will request proof [check with your vaccine documentation] of vaccination during the onsite registration process. We are an inclusive organization and would like you to join the congress in-person, however, if you are not vaccinated, we will have a limited virtual offering available online.

ICMM is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for our participants and those supporting our Congress. We are working closely with all vendors asking them to adhere to the same protocols as our attendees. While ICMM cannot guarantee attendees will not become infected with COVID-19, ICMM has adopted preventative measures to reduce the potential spread of the COVID-19 virus at our Congress in accordance with COVID-19 guidance provided by:
