The Taproom Growlers are an exciting acapella sea shanty singing group based in Annapolis Royal Nova Scotia. They will get your toes tapping and your hands clapping. They perform sea shanties from the days of sail as well as more modern songs of life at sea and sailor's dreams. The members of the group are Kevin Thompson (founder of the group), Ken Maher, Wayne Currie, Ray Balcom, Gordon Keel, John Bottomley, Miles Leahy and Maurice LeClair.
They have also performed in every bar, Brewery and Legion from Digby to Bridgetown. This summer they will be forming at the Fundy International Shanty Festival in St. Martins New Brunswick.
