Tuesday Night Talk
6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Moonmist and Bingo are not your average lobsters.
Caught by local fishers and destined for market, these two rare lobsters, one cotton candy and one split-coloured, captured national attention and sparked conversations far beyond the wharf.
Tonight, listen to the remarkable journey of Moonmist and Bingo - from fishing traps to the Fisherman’s Market - into the care of Back to the Sea Centre, and ultimately back to the ocean. Along the way, we’ll explore what makes lobsters like these so rare, why they generate such fascination, and how moments like this can become powerful opportunities for public education and conservation.
