Tuesday Night Talk
6:30 pm to 7:30 pm

Stephi Walker has spent ten years working as a guide and expedition leader in Antarctica. People often ask: do things ever go wrong? The answer is YES. Hear behind-the-scenes stories of Antarctic beauty, wonder, risk, and recovery - and what these moments reveal about teamwork, leadership, adventure, and resilience in everyday life.

Stephi Walker is a Scotland-born wilderness guide and outdoor educator who began working in Antarctica in 2015. Over the past decade, she’s worn many hats - from sea kayak guide and Zodiac driver to geology presenter and Expedition Leader - eventually managing teams of 35 polar guides aboard expedition ships carrying 200 guests. A certified Senior Polar Guide, Senior Assessor, and Assessor Trainer for the Polar Tourism Guides Association, Stephi now serves as Executive Director of the Nova Scotia Sea School, a long-standing youth non-profit dedicated to ocean adventure and leadership.

Tuesday Night Talks is open to everyone. We offer free admission from 4 pm to 8 pm. Donations to Feed Nova Scotia are welcome.
