March Break 2018: Anchors Aweigh!

March 9, 2018 to March 18, 2018

Daily programs between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm (Sundays between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm.)

Set sail for a world of adventure and activities! The Maritime Museum of the Atlantic is hosting crafts, films and fun this March Break! Learn about the age of sail and steam without all the salt spray.

With museum admission ($11.85 for a family) you’ll be able to explore the galleries and try your hand at traditional games that sailors would play at sea, learn a little more about our nautical past, and sit down for a film in the Robertson Warehouse Theatre.  There will also be a variety of staff-led and self-guided craft stations available throughout the day.

Grab your sou’wester and visit our historic William Robertson and Son Ship Store to see if you have what it takes to outfit a fishing schooner from Nova Scotia’s Days of Sail! You can also invoke the age of the famous schooner Bluenose by selecting a mini-wooden boat for an exciting race!

Follow us on Twitter and Facebook for more information, fun photos and news happening during March Break, and don’t forget to share your Anchors Aweigh! experiences with us!
