Giving Celtic Context

As part of the run up to this years Halifax Celtic Festival, the Maritime Museum will be hosting a Prelude Event entitled “Giving Celtic Context”.

This 90-minute event will feature guest speaker Doctor Neil O Briain, a professor at the Irish Studies department of Saint Mary’s University. He has an MA in General Linguistics from Radboud University in Nijmegen, Netherlands, and a BA in History and Irish Language from University College Cork. Apart from his passion for the Irish language, his interest mainly revolves around the guitar and travelling.
