Artist of the Day with Peter Lockerbie

Hey kids! Stop by the Maritime Museum’s courtyard for this edition of the Artist of the Day with talented artist Peter Lockerbie, who will be helping you let your imagination set sail for another of his maritime-themed crafts.

" Sailing through the Ages"

Join us for an exploration through time with vessels of the past and present! Enjoy coloring in a selection of pen and ink boat drawings prepared by Pete Lockerbie or design a creative craft of your own to sail through the waters of imagination. Art supplies are provided for this all ages free event with the Halifax waterfront as a perfect setting teeming with ships of all shapes and sizes. Be sure to thoroughly explore the Museum for a bounty of inspiration!

About Peter:

Peter Lockerbie is a draftsperson and illustrator from Nova Scotia. His works include comics, murals, live paintings, print illustrations, as well as residential and commercial building design. He currently lives on the shores of the Bay of Fundy with his partner Nicole and their two cats, Big Tuna and Murphy, who often contrive to get in the way…
