6pm - Midnight

FREE TO THE PUBLIC

We’re very excited to be hosting anchor Artist Barak adé Soleil this year as part of Nocturne: Art at Night. Barak makes dance, theatre, and performance art. An award-winning creative practitioner, he has been engaging diverse communities nationally and internationally for over two decades. His work speaks to the expanse of contemporary art; drawing upon legacies and aesthetics from the African diaspora, disability, and queer culture.

Nocturne: Art at Night is a fall festival that brings art and energy to the streets of Halifax and Dartmouth between 6 pm and midnight. The free annual event showcases and celebrates the visual arts scene in Halifax and Dartmouth. Nocturne, designed and planned largely by volunteers, is an opportunity for everyone to experience the art of Halifax and Dartmouth in a whole new light.
