Climate Change: A Panel Discussion

March 21, 2017

It’s a hot topic: Climate Change in Canada – the cold, hard facts

In today’s media, misinformation and false facts are everywhere. Since Climate Change is consistently being disputed by politicians and the public, the Rotaract Club of Halifax is hosting an Academic Panel discussion to clear things up. Climate, Political and Social Scientists will provide us with the most up-to-date facts about the climate changes that are happening in Canada and the world at large.

Have you ever asked yourself what is Climate Change? Where is it happening? What does it mean for me? Should something be done? The panel discussion will be followed by a question and answer period. Put all your uncertainties to rest.

The panel will consist of Kate Ervine, PhD, John Cullen, Professor Emeritus, John Loder, Emeritus Scientist and Christine Stortini, PhD Candidate.
