Artist of the Day: Painting Scenes of the Shore with Peter Lockerbie

Hey kids! Enjoy an exciting voyage to the shores of Atlantic Canada where you can paint scenes inspired by the Maritimes. Our artist of the day, Peter Lockerbie, will guide you as you paint and draw such things as sea creatures, ocean vistas, sailing and fishing boats along with whatever the imagination brings. Kids can also draw inspiration for their art creations from the museum's exhibits and the waterfront. This program is FREE and will take place outside the museum in our courtyard. Here are some examples of what you’ll be making!

About Peter:

Peter Lockerbie is a draftsperson and artist from Nova Scotia whose work includes comics, murals, paintings, book and print illustration as well as residential and commercial building design. Peter lives in Digby with his wife and two cats where he draws and paints scenes of the Annapolis Basin.
